Wholesale SMS routes

SMPP routes you can
build a business on.

Persistent binds, real delivery receipts correlated to your submission ID, throughput set to your agreed capacity, and per-operator reporting so you can see exactly which network dropped what.

SMS routes at a glance

  • SMPP 3.4 binds — transmitter, receiver or transceiver
  • DLR correlation back to your submission ID, not left for you to match
  • Per-bind throughput matched to your commercial capacity
  • Per-operator delivery reporting — see which network dropped what
  • Honest character counting — GSM-7 extended characters billed as two septets
  • Multi-tier markup if you're reselling to your own customers
Deliverability

A route that reports success isn't the same as a message that arrived

Plenty of providers show high submission rates. The number that matters is delivery confirmed by the operator, per network, and whether the provider will show it to you when it's poor.

  • Real operator DLRs, not synthesised acknowledgements
  • Per-network breakdown rather than one blended figure
  • Sender ID registration handled per market where required
  • Opt-out enforcement applied in the send path before submission

Questions

SMS route questions

What throughput can I get?

Set per bind against what you've agreed commercially, so it matches your route capacity rather than an arbitrary cap. Tell us your expected peak and we'll size it.

Do you support DLRs?

Yes, correlated back to your original submission ID rather than left for you to match up. That's the difference between knowing what delivered and guessing.

Can I use alphanumeric sender IDs?

Where the destination market permits them, yes — registered before use as the regulator requires. We'll tell you which markets need pre-registration.

How is message length counted?

GSM-7 gives 160 characters, 153 per part when concatenated. The eight extended characters consume two septets each. Anything outside GSM-7 switches the message to UCS-2 at 70 characters, 67 per part. We bill what the standard says.
