A phone system
with nothing to install.
Extensions, menus, queues, voicemail and a softphone that runs in the browser. No PBX in a cupboard, no handsets to buy unless you want them, and your existing numbers come with you.
Zephyr Cloud PBX at a glance
- No hardware required — browser softphone included with every extension
- Live the same day for a new number; two to four weeks if you're porting
- Porting included, paperwork and regulator forms handled by us
- Your own SIP domain per tenant, isolated from every other customer
- Works with desk phones too — any standards-based SIP handset
- Priced per seat, scaling up or down as your team changes
The features, without the cupboard full of hardware
A traditional PBX means capital outlay, a maintenance contract and an engineer visit every time something changes. This is the same capability as a hosted service you can reconfigure yourself in a browser.
- Extensions and departments with internal dialling and presence
- IVR menus nested as deep as you need, changed in seconds not service calls
- Call queues with hold music, position announcements and overflow rules
- Voicemail to email, plus transcription if you want it
- Ring groups, hunt lists and follow-me so calls find the right person
- Time-of-day routing — different behaviour after hours and on public holidays

Your office number, on whatever they're using
The extension follows the person, not the desk. Same number, same features, whether they're in the office, at home, or on a mobile between client visits.
- Browser softphone — nothing to install, works on any laptop
- Mobile apps so the office number rings on a personal phone without sharing it
- Desk phones where people prefer them, auto-provisioned
- One extension, all three — ring them together or in sequence
Start with phones. Add the rest when you need it.
Cloud PBX sits on the same switch as everything else we run, so nothing needs replacing when you outgrow it.

Do I need to buy handsets?
No. Every extension includes a browser softphone that works on a laptop with a headset. If you prefer desk phones, any standards-based SIP handset works and we'll supply provisioning details. Mobile apps are supported too, so the office number can ring on a personal phone without sharing that number.
Can I keep my existing numbers?
Yes. We port them across and handle the losing-carrier paperwork, regulatory forms and cutover scheduling. Porting is included rather than a line item.
What internet connection do I need?
Roughly 100 kbps per concurrent call in each direction, so a stable fibre line handles a large office comfortably. Consistent latency and low jitter matter more than raw speed — we test this with you before go-live rather than after.
How long does setup take?
A new number and a working system can be live the same day. If you're porting existing numbers, allow two to four weeks — most of which is waiting on your current provider, not on us.
What happens if our internet goes down?
Calls fail over to a mobile or an alternative number you nominate, per extension or for the whole site. You configure the fallback yourself, and it applies immediately.
Can different sites have different numbers?
Yes. Multiple numbers in multiple cities or countries can all route into one system, with each site keeping its own local identity for outbound calls.
